It’s been a while since I last shared some photos of our home with you, hasn’t it? It’s not that I don’t want to share, it’s just I didn’t think it was worth to update you because until now all we’ve been doing is buying furniture, changing furniture out of place and hanging some pictures on the walls… We still have a long way until we can call this apartment “our home”.

I guess you can say I’m a slow decorator…

I have a never ending list of projects I want to start, like painting cabinets, hanging our travel souvenirs, creating a small garden in our balcony, and a lot more… But for now, I just wanted to do a quick update so you could see how our apartment looks at this very moment.

I didn’t publish photos of the bathrooms because they are exactly the same as when we came to this house, and photos of the office are also missing because we have guests at our place right now, that’s where they are sleeping right now.

Without further ado, I present to you

Here’s what I want to do in this area:

  1. Replace the coat hanger;
  2. Make some cushions for the shoes bench;
  3. Hang pictures and photos on the walls;
  4. Tranform the cabinet;
  5. Add plants and one tall cabinet for the winter coats;
  6. Make something for that main entry door… I still don’t have a clear idea of what I want to do, but I’ll think of something.

Yes! I still have a box to unpack! That one contains our travel souvenirs 🙂

Wow… This one will take me sooooo much work! I have so many ideas!

We dismantled one side of the couch so it could fit in this position. This way we created a separation between the eating area and the living room. Now the couch looks incomplete though… But I already have an idea and I even bought some materials to get it done, it’s just a matter of time.

Here’s what needs to be done here:

  1. Olivia’s corner;
  2. Olivia’s corner window;
  3. Coffee / side table;
  4. Couch arm;
  5. Cover couch and pillows;
  6. Add more pillows and possibly a big floor pillow;
  7. Transform TV cabinet;
  8. Hang posters, photos and pictures;
  9. Add plants.

I added this colorful carpet that I love and some curtains. I was too lazy to make the sheaths to the curtains, so I just cut some straps and made knots. The kitchen is completely new and equipped so I don’t feel there’s much I can do here. I want to transform the “high table/bar” area though (I hate it and don’t find it useful at all), and paint the chairs of the dining area (visible on the living room photos above).

Buffff… Where should I start? Basically I want to have a small garden and a lounge area. I want to add lights, candles, cushions… Ohhhh I want a dreamy balcony!

This is my favorite room in the entire house! I want to paint some pieces of furniture, give her a proper night stand, hang her art and some photos, and transform the light fixture.

I want our bedroom to stay minimalist and to look really simple and peaceful, but I still want to hang something above and in front of the bed.

Did you like it? Would you like to see photos of our house more often? Should I make update posts like this on a more regularly basis? Let me know in the comments section bellow 😉
