KIDS BEDROOMS STYLING INSPIRATION

INSP_kids bedrooms

I’m eager to decorate Olivia’s bedroom! I think it will be a pleasure to assemble her room and finally give my daughter a space of her own. I want her room to be multi-functional and that it can grow with her, during all her stages and facing all her needs. I also want that if a brother or a sister comes along, the room can easily adapt to the siblings. So every piece of furniture has to be bought considering all of these aspects. That’s why planning and getting inspired is so important! Keep reading…

SET YOUR GOALS + 2016 CALENDAR (FREE PDF PRINTABLES)

One thing that I really enjoy making is to evaluate my past year and set goals for the next to come. I love to make lists and plans! Accomplishing all that I proposed to do is another thing… But that doesn’t keep me from planning and set more goals! Yeah… you can say I’m a very optimistic person 😉

To start 2016 with the right foot I already started to think about what I want to accomplish and the necessary steps to make everything happen. I’m always trying to be more purposeful with my choices, to be more productive and to use my time wisely, that’s why in the beginning of each year I take a close look at the calendar and set all my goals. HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN NOTEPAD + TO DO LIST FREE PRINTABLE

TEMPLATE DIM

I’m a list maker kind of person, you know? Everything I need to do and accomplish must be in a list, otherwise I tend to forget it and then of course I don’t do what needed to be done. But I’m also very disorganized as I tend to write my ideas and to do’s on every single paper I find around the house.

This year, one of my biggest goals is to be more focused and organized in that sense. Now I’m using a planner (download it for free here) and I made my own to do list notepad that I carry everywhere I go. Keep reading…

MINI TRAVEL GUIDE: WHAT TO EAT, SEE AND DO IN BERLIN

MTG_Berlin

I thought it would be nice to start this series with Berlin, my favorite city in the world (so far) and give you a personal insight about what to eat, see and do in this awesome city. I lived there for five intense and wonderful months. I learned a bit of German, made friends for life, had some cultural clashes and, more important than anything else, I got pregnant of my first child! Keep reading…

NOMAD TALES #2: LUCÍA MARICALVA

NT_Lucia Maricalva

I met LucĂa when I was still living in France and used to go to this Toddler Group at CERN. At the time I was responsible for getting all newcomers names and info, so I had to start chatting with them as soon as they arrived. Immediately we connected and started to talk a lot. It was friendship at first sight! Then we started to have lunch together with both of our husbands and kids. And soon we were already discovering Switzerland and France with them. It was then when I began to really enjoy my stay at Switzer-France. And now I don’t want to leave again… Keep reading…

Well well well… another year went by and I almost didn’t feel it! It seems like I was posting the 2015 planner yesterday… And we are already in November! As always, I didn’t accomplish even half of my goals, although I’m pretty satisfied with what I accomplished this year. One of my main goals was to manage my time wisely and define my priorities better which I think I did, at least for most of the days 😉 Keep reading…

THIS ONE TIME… WHEN WE LEFT OUR KEYS INSIDE THE HOUSE

TR_keys inside

Living in so many different environments gives us the possibility of having a lot of experiences and consequently many stories to tell. Some are good and funny, others not so enjoyable, but all are worth telling.

This one time when we left our only set of keys inside the house is one of those bad, terrible, sad experiences… Well, it was not the end of the world and nobody got hurt and in the end everything was okay, so now, two years later, it’s only a memory and a good story to tell to our friends. ALL ABOUT MY MOVING SYSTEM + FREE PRINTABLE + INFOGRAPHIC

moving system

Over the years I’ve been getting better and better at moving, organizing the move and packing all our stuff. I am a bit of a control freak so when it comes to organizing, putting things in place, packing our bags and arranging everything to move, I am the person behind it all.

Planning a move is no easy task, so over time I’ve developed kind of a system in 7 steps that helps me to stay zen while packing and moving: Keep reading…

BEDROOMS STYLING INSPIRATION

INSP_bedrooms

My second favorite room in the house is the bedroom. Why? Because I love to sleep! I love to stay in bed, just wondering and day dreaming. It’s in our bed where me and my daughter play, read stories and cuddle. It’s also in bed where my husband and I catch up and have the most interesting conversations. Keep reading…
